As They Slip Away (Across the Universe, #0.5) - Beth Revis Read it here: was again immediately drawn into the world and towards the characters Revis creates with her simple, yet effective and skilfull prose. This was an exciting read overall, though I have to admit I was quite miffed to see that the whole issue around the pills and their function was dealt with in a somewhat confusing fashion and I wished for some more clarification as to what the theories of the different characters on the one hand and the actual facts on the other hand were, especially as a refresher for the memory before the third book. But problems in grasping the nature of the issue might possibly be completely my fault, so I won't substract a star for that.In the end, I find the setting of the Godspeed utterly engaging, don't care much for perfect scientifical correctness and have to say I am completely hyped for the third and final book in the series, [b:Shades of Earth|10345937|Shades of Earth (Across the Universe, #3)|Beth Revis||15248728] that I'll most likely buy and read at once as soon as it comes out tomorrow.
